cyndi andreozzi

Cyn Andreozzi loves gamelan. So much so that she plays with two gamelan groups – Bard College’s Community Gamelan, Giri Mekar, near her home on the Hudson in Port Ewen, NY, and here with Dharma Swarma. She has also played in Bali with Saiban, a small gamelan group led by Dharma Swara’s Artist-in-Residence, Gusti Komin and Bucknell University’s Bethany Collier. Her enthusiasm for all things gamelan carries her through the two plus hours commute to NYC and DS. When she is not playing gamelan she is a Director at a not-for-profit, providing community-needs programming to Inwood in Northern Manhattan. She also cares for various creatures, human and otherwise.
