Dance

Jessica has been creative writing and drawing since she could hold a pencil and became a dance major at CalArts, where she joined the school's gamelan, Burat Wangi, and remained in the group as both a dancer and musician until she moved (back) to NY (born in LI), where she studied western music and has been making money baking, teaching ballet and working with children. She's been performing in indie bands since 2001 as a bassist, singer and rapper, performed burlesque as Audrey Bloom and returned to gamelan in 2010 with Dharma Swara as a musician, then took a break after a few seasons to have her son. Jessica returned to DS in late 2025 as a dancer and looks forward to being part of a collective, immerse in the culture and perform in the beautiful costumes!
