Sabrina Kiamilev (she/her) is a dancer from Delaware of Indonesian and Crimean Tatar descent. Learning ballet, tap, and jazz as a child, then discovering street and club styles as a teenager, she quickly fell in love with house and hip hop dance. Fast forward to today, she loves exploring various dance styles, with her primary focus being house dance and club culture. While she grew up around traditional Indonesian dances, she never actually studied them until she was an adult. She joined Gamelan Dharma Swara as an opportunity to reconnect with her roots, echoing the moves her grandparents would playfully dance at home. When she's not at gamelan practice, you can find her dancing at the club, making jamu with her brand Jamuroquai, and organizing community events.
