Join us for Dharma Swara’s BEGINNER & TECHNIQUE DANCE SERIES, Spring 2026.

This series will cover a brief history of Balinese dance and introduce the different styles of the movement form. We’ll also visit ideas of musicality and the important connection between Balinese dance and gamelan music, while spending time on specific choreographic works, some classical and some contemporary. All of the pieces covered in this series are part of Gamelan Dharma Swara’s repertoire. No previous experience required — all are welcome!
